Sunrise over the desert
Our Campsite near Borrego Springs, CA, we will spend a few days here on the desert. Below was the view out the back window of
our RV at Hensley Lake about 18 miles outside of Madera, CA. we were on a Corps of Engineer Lake in their nice campground. we plan on going back there for a longer stay someday.

these are the mountains at our campsite at Borrego Springs area. Very nice view here.

I will be posting new pages as we travel for the next several months in the desert of California and Arizona. Hope to have some great pics here soon. Keep watching for new posts!

Holiday Lights Shore Acres State Park, Oregon

This is well worth the trip to see this display of lights. There are over 300,000 lights, it takes many volunteers almost a month to set up these displays. There is over 49,000 visitors each year from many states and from several countries.
We went 2 nights in a row just to see it all. we highly recommend a trip over to see them. they are down by Coos Bay, south to Charleston and then about 3 miles from there. There is

a State Park near there, Sunset Beach that is nice to stay at if you RV. they have full hookups. several motels nearby and a couple of private campgrounds also.

Sister Oregon Quilt show 3

The next 2 quilts are from our neighbor, Delores, She does a great job on quilts.

The following quilts tell the story of Alice In Wonderland, some great quilts there.

This Quilt was all done by hand it was sold for $1,000. we saw one other quilt listed at $1,095. Most of the quilts were in the $300 to $600 range. A lot of work for that kind of money, I think it might equal out to .50 an hour if you are lucky!!
